Danielle BarrettDanielle Barrett,
Sales Trainer and Process Specialist

Danielle’s automotive history began in 1991 as a Parts Truck Driver. She has held just about every position in the dealership over her 18 year history including Accounts Receivables, Salesperson, Sales Manager, and Internet Sales Director. She attended the prestigious, Northwood University and completed the Automotive Marketing and Management program with a BA degree. During the four years attending school she interned at several local dealerships learning each and every department.

She crossed over to the Internet aspect of the business when a position opened up for United Auto Group in West Palm Beach, FL. She oversaw the entire Internet sales operations for the multi franchise Auto mall. Danielle found success in using the e-Dealer Solutions training format and training techniques to develop her staff.

After several years of increasing sales and processes, she was relocated by UAG to Atlanta, GA where she continued to implement the same foundation. She continued to develop her team in the Atlanta market along with the help of e-Dealer Solutions training for another 5 years. She built dealership’s Internet sales to achieve more than 25% of overall sales. Over the past decade she has not only developed many Internet departments and the personnel but she managed the entire Internet marketing campaigns as well as website development.

Danielle has been a part of the e-Dealer Solutions team for 3 years.

Why did I decide to work for e-Dealer solutions?
It was a natural step for me to move from the dealership side to the training side. I had developed a long-term working relationship with Jennifer Suzuki, who founded the company. I had been implementing the EDS strategies and methodology for years and I knew it worked. I also was extremely familiar with the training program as my teams and I had learned all of our techniques from the EDS training courses. EDS is on top of the ever-changing world of Internet sales and I enjoy selling cars! Now, I get to show people the skills I have acquired, assist in bringing prospects in the door and working toward improving salespeople’s performance and sales! I became so successful with UAG because they offered me continual training, which most dealers don't. I thought what better way to help dealers, salespeople and customers than to be a Trainer for e-Dealer Solutions. This is the most rewarding career for me to date!

What is the biggest benefit to the salespeople in your training class?
The biggest benefit is an average or below average performer will turn their day to day selling job into a career through the information I provide. I find it very exciting to implement the training and watch the class see a huge increase in opportunity that they didn’t know existed and can go back and immediately apply it. Everyone learns the vital information necessary to take it to the next level! I find that the one-on-one training provides an even higher level of learning because we apply the training content together with real prospects. The biggest benefit here is that the new information is implemented and understood. In addition, the increases in set appointments and the significant decline in price discussions.
